My dog is terrible on a leash. I have tried multiple training styles to get my dog to heal and walk nicely next to me on a leash. Nothing worked. So I purchased the Gentle Leader. It was difficult to get the fitting right on my dog. Even worse she hates to wear it, so it is struggle to get on her in the first place. Once I got it on her she did stop pulling. However she decided that it was a better option to rub her face all over my legs to try and get the device off of her nose. Also any time we stopped, she would start rubbing her face on the ground to get it off.
While she doesn't pull me on the leash anymore, she does make walking difficult and my legs raw instead. Not sure if I will continue using this product.
